Health, safety and environment
We believe high operational performance is only possible with a safe working environment and an environmentally responsible outlook. Guided by the principles of zero accidents and maximum sustainability, we treat the protection of both our people and nature as a corporate responsibility.
Occupational health and safety
Protecting the health and safety of our people at every stage of a field operation is our first priority.
Risk analysis and prevention
We analyse every accident risk that may arise from the start of a project to its end, and stop those risks at source with proactive measures and the right equipment.
Legal compliance and standards
We work in full compliance with national and international health and safety legislation and with every legal obligation that binds our sector.
Continuous training and development
From management to field crews, we keep everyone's safety awareness current through regular training, and we bring sector and technology developments into our operations quickly.
Environment and sustainability
We work to the principle of sustainable mining for a liveable world and commit to protecting the ecological balance. We know drilling can be carried out without damaging the environment, and we do it that way.
Resource and waste management
We use natural resources as efficiently as possible, minimise waste at source during our operations and manage recycling professionally.
Environmental impact control
From the first day of a project to handover, we keep every possible environmental impact under control and reduce it with modern engineering solutions.
Investing in the future
While complying fully with environmental legislation, we follow scientific research and green technology closely and keep improving our environmental performance.
Our machine safety standards
CE marking
Our machines carry CE marking under Machinery Directive 2006/42/EC, with conformity assessed against EN 16228-1, the safety standard for drilling and foundation equipment.
Integrated guarding
Guarding, emergency stops and control layout are part of the machine design, not something added afterwards to pass an inspection.
Zero accident policy
Our operating policy is zero accidents, supported by personnel training and by safety equipment built into the machine.
People
Drillers and their assistants are trained on the specific machine they will operate, and the training is repeated when a crew moves to a different rig. Written procedures exist for every drilling operation, and crews are scheduled to repeat that training at set intervals.
Environment
Site preparation and reinstatement, and the management of drilling water, are agreed with the client before work starts and carried out according to that agreement.
Our handbooks
We have put the procedures we apply in the field and our technical know-how in writing. Both can be downloaded.
Our certificates
Management system certificates
Our quality, environmental and occupational health and safety management systems are certified by CAS Certification, accredited by TÜRKAK.
